The Zimmer Ambassador is In Wellington now.
Its raining, the first time he has seen rain since the 9th - no sympathy there then -
Alright the swimming stuff!
Lake Taupo - volcanic lake 20k by 15k over 300 meters above sea level - great to swim and drink swim and drink. Average depth over 100 metres!
colour Deep azure blue, ultramarie and turquoise.
Temperature:20-21 degrees Centigrade (ENVY ALLOWED)
The ambassador allowed himself to be pulled behind a fast boat wearing speedos and sunblock atop an inflatible childs "biscuit" at speeds of 55-75kph Due to the painful possibilities of meeting water at such speeds he declined to fall off and hung on with a vice like grip akin to the hands of Burnaby Bob on Rodder's Counter!
The ambassador also partook in diving and swimming long distances looking at divine trout.
Visibility on a sunny day up to 15 meters to the bottom!!!!
